Jack was raised in Manistee, MI and graduated from Manistee High School in 2004.  He graduated from Central Michigan University in December 2008 with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and is currently pursuing his Master of Science in Computer Science.  Since a very young age, Jack has been fascinated with computers.  In 6th grade, he built his first web page.  In 7th and 8th grade, Jack was a member of the Manistee Middle School web design team.  The web design team was a new concept at the time, and  Jack was responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of the Manistee Middle school web site.  While in high school, Jack designed and built several web sites for people throughout the community.  In 11th grade, he was invited to be a lead developer on the Manistee High School web site.

After high school graduation, Jack went on to Central Michigan University in Mount Pleasant, MI, where he began his studies as a Computer Science major with minors in Information Technology and History.  While at CMU, Jack worked for the Office of Information Technology as a Help Desk Technician, and eventually moved up to being a Student Programmer once his skills had matured enough.  In the fall of 2007, Jack was offered a position as the Project Manager for the Center for Software Development.  While at the Center for Software Development, Jack managed up to 10 people and oversaw projects from conception to deployment.  During his senior year at CMU, Jack was approached by a friend about helping him start a software development company.  Jack accepted this offer and has been working with his friend doing contracting work on an “as needed” basis.

Jack is now a graduate student of Computer Science at CMU.  He goes to school full time, works as a graduate assistant, and does contracting work in is spare time.
