The following is a portfolio of some of the recent web development work attributed to Re-Cycled Air or Jack Slingerland.

Amalgam Amalgam LLC is a geographic information systems (GIS) company out of Mount Pleasant, MI. I am responsible for the creation of a administration tool that allows clients to add events to maps (pictured), which was done in Flex.

Surroundings Surroundings is a cigar and candle shop located in Manistee, MI. This site makes use of Wordpress as a CMS so that the site owner may edit the content whenever they please. There are currently plans to expand the site with an online store and a forum.

Fwds.me Fwds.me is a simple URL shortening service. It was developed as a simple alternative to URL shortening services such as Bit.ly and Tiny URL.

Should I Get The Book? Should I Get The Book is a community driven site where college students can rate courses based on whether or not they required the text book. Still in beta testing, ShouldIGetTheBook.com shows great potential for nationwide acceptance among college students.

Encode4Free Encode4Free is an online video encoding web site. Users may register for this service, and then encode videos from any format to any format. This site makes heavy use of server side technologies as well as custom video encoding scripts. It is currently under development.

Golf Outing Specialists Golf Outing Specialists is a golf event planning web site. Through a custom administration area, the owner may create new golf event web sites, and customize each of them without ever having to touch code. The site owner may also adjust any content throughout the site.

Wrestling Addix Current Wrestling Addix is a community driven web portal for high school and college wrestling across the United States. Due to increased traffic and feature expansion, the site had to be converted to a more robust content management system.

CMU Internal Central Michigan University has an expansive network of internal web sites used to manage resources. During my time at CMU, I have developed many internal web sites for the Office of Information Technology and the College of Health Professions.
